A photo of Hinkle Hall from August 2010. My office is in this gorgeous building.

I am an Associate Professor of English at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I have been since 2010. At Xavier, I teach early modern British literature, including Shakespeare, early modern drama, poetry, and more. I also teach literature of diversity, freshman rhetoric and composition, and general literature courses, and for five years, I directed the First-Year Seminar program. In the summers, I often have the good fortune to teach in and travel with the Xavier Ireland or Xavier London study abroad programs.

I have served as the book and performance review editor for Early Modern Culture. You can learn more about my research by clicking on the research tab above, and my teaching by clicking that tab. I can be reached via my Xavier contact information, available here or via Twitter (@profoleary).
