I am an Associate Professor of English at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where I have been since 2010. At Xavier, I teach early modern British literature, including Shakespeare, early modern drama, poetry, and more. I also teach literature of diversity, freshman rhetoric and composition, and general literature courses, and for three years, have directed the First-Year Seminar program. In the summers, I often have the good fortune to teach in and travel with the Xavier Ireland study abroad program.
I have served as the book and performance review editor for Early Modern Culture.
This is my personal website, and it contains information about my teaching and research. I am also using it as a way to chart my research process as I work on my current project: a history of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. Inspired by the research blogging philosophy of my wonderful colleague, Renea Frey, I may be making some of that work-in-progress public…we shall see!
I can be reached via my Xavier contact information, available here.
